Flowers Foods is hiring a Mixer Operator to ensure the consistent and safe preparation of doughs according to scheduled production standards. This role requires a high level of competency in all activities affecting product safety, legality, and quality.
What You'll Do
- Ensure consistency on all doughs by proper scaling and time and temperature control according to production standards.
- Maintain the production schedule by mixing dough efficiently and delivering it to dividers on time.
- Maintain records of dough mixing times, temperatures, and other required data.
- Maintain the cleanliness of assigned work area(s).
- Practice and comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety and work rules.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures (EEO, Sexual Harassment, Safety, Sarbanes Oxley, etc.).
- Perform other duties deemed by management to be an integral part of the job, including adherence to work schedules and attendance policies.
What We're Looking For
- No educational prerequisite; however, you must demonstrate the ability to read, comprehend, and record information applicable to the job.
Nice to Have
- One or more years of production experience as a helper.
- Six months of basic knowledge of mixer procedures and mixer operator duties.
