Renesas Electronics is seeking a Mixed Signal IC Product Definition Intern to join its Memory Interface architecture team for summer 2026. In this role, you will contribute to defining specifications for next-generation integrated circuits, supporting the company's mission 'To Make Our Lives Easier.' You will work collaboratively to bring innovative memory interface products from concept to specification.
What You'll Do
- Work under the guidance of a mentor with engineers and technical writers developing specifications for IC devices for future DDR and LPDDR memory modules.
- Review draft specifications from standards organizations like JEDEC.
- Proofread internal specifications and analyze them for editorial or functional issues.
What We're Looking For
- Currently enrolled full time in a university degree program pursuing a BS/MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
- Must not have graduated before September 2026.
- Exposure to ASIC architecture, high speed I/O, digital logic, and switching regulator design methodologies.
- Experience with circuit schematics.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with MS Word, Visio, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Strong skill with using AI for continuing development.
Nice to Have
- Experience with FrameMaker.
