Amentum is seeking a Mission System Operator to conduct Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTP) training using ground-based air defense and threat emitters throughout the European Area of Operation. This position is located in the vicinity of Ramstein AFB/Pirmasens, Germany.

What You'll Do

Operate GBAD system simulators and associated equipment.
Employ near-peer Ground-Based Air Defense and Integrated Air Defense System tactics to support realistic aircrew survivability training.
Operate legacy Threat Emitters in accordance with scenario and customer requirements up to U.S. SECRET training parameters.
Transport, set up, complete pre-mission checks, operate, and clean all mobile, fixed, support, and associated equipment.
Operate a variety of systems including TRTG, SSAM, WESS, RWR, MAST, Malina, Griffen, inflatable and metal decoys, UHF/VHF radios, remote radio kits, generators, laser detection systems, and MUTES.
Conduct Joint Terminal Attack Controller (JTAC) and Close Air Support (CAS) training under the guidance of an Advanced Mission System Operator.
Handle MALTS-V and MALTS-D systems for driving, setup, and teardown.
Complete operator-level maintenance on all electronic equipment using manuals and required test equipment.
Set up, tear down, and prepare all equipment for shipment per contract requirements.
Drive required vehicles to move, transport, load, unload, and operate equipment.
Load and unload equipment transported by shipping companies or the Air Force via road, rail, or air.
Transport and secure munitions.
Support maintainers during equipment maintenance.
Travel to temporary duty stations on short notice for extended periods in support of missions, training, and conferences.
Report any equipment deficiencies or outages to Maintenance Control and personnel.
Accomplish corrosion control and repair on all equipment.
Complete inputs into the Integrated Maintenance Data System for repair actions.
Transport to or receive parts, equipment, and vehicles to and from logistics support facilities.
Assist with GFP inventories and accountability paperwork under guidance of Supply Technicians and Maintainers.
Submit corrections for equipment and manual improvements and develop or correct checklists and procedures.
Report any facility deficiencies or outages to the Facility Manager.
Move office supplies or furniture as needed.
Work in all weather conditions, including removing snow and ice from facilities.
Clean all areas, vehicles, and equipment by sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, wiping, dusting, and power washing.
Perform extending reaching, stooping, kneeling, and pushing/pulling loads up to 50 lbs.
Utilize MS Office and general computer skills.
Perform extra duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

Experience in a related field at a military installation.

Valid driver's license and passport.
Ability to obtain a German class B and C driver's license within 6 months of hire.
Ability to obtain a German Driver’s license with a minimal requirement of C1E and up to CE (for vehicles with trailers up to 40,000kg).
Ability to obtain a German Forklift License as required.
Active DOD Secret clearance and eligibility for NATO Secret Indoctrination. Must maintain clearance throughout duration of employment.
