Braze is looking for a Midwife residing in the United Kingdom to join our mission of scaling healthcare access worldwide. This is a part-time, independent contractor role where you'll provide virtual care and support to women and families via Maven's platform.
What You'll Do
- Provide virtual care and support via 10-minute video consults and asynchronous messaging throughout pregnancy, labor, and the postpartum period.
- Cover decisions on labor and delivery options for hospital, birth center, or home births.
- Provide postpartum care, including support for breastfeeding and addressing vaginal discharge or incontinence issues.
- Address perinatal mood disorders, such as postpartum depression and anxiety.
- Capture encounter summary documentation in Maven's practice management system, MPractice.
- Collaborate with Maven’s Care Delivery team to ensure member needs are met, including recommending in-person referrals and follow-ups.
- Serve as an ambassador of Maven’s unique care model, providing culturally humble care.
What We're Looking For
- Must be a Registered Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
- Must be residing in the United Kingdom.
- Possess the ability to provide direct member care for 5 hours per week.
- Have 3+ years practicing independently.
- Have 3+ years of prior experience in the telehealth space.
- Must be comfortable providing care through a digital health platform.
- Must be passionate about women’s and family health.

You will be part of a curated provider network encompassing 30+ specialties and 350+ subspecialties, collaborating with Maven’s Care Delivery team.
