About the Role

Role Overview

You’ll take ownership of cloud and server infrastructure, focusing on AWS and Kubernetes environments. Your work will ensure systems are highly available, secure, and scalable while supporting seamless development and deployment pipelines across global teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and optimize both cloud and on-premise infrastructure for performance, resilience, and cost efficiency
  • Design and implement DevOps practices that enhance development speed and deployment reliability
  • Proactively monitor systems and applications to detect and resolve issues before impact
  • Drive improvements in fault tolerance and system uptime across the platform
  • Ensure infrastructure meets compliance requirements for GDPR and SOC2
  • Act as a technical resource for Kubernetes, guiding teams on best practices for deployment and management

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years in DevOps roles with a focus on AWS and Linux-based systems
  • Strong command of Linux system administration and TCP/IP networking fundamentals
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, EKS, RDS, IAM, Route53, and SES
  • Proficiency with Kubernetes and configuration management using Ansible
  • Familiarity with database technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, ElasticSearch, Kafka, and ClickHouse
  • Experience using Prometheus and Grafana for monitoring and alerting
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems with sustainable, scalable solutions
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset across technical and operational teams

Technical Environment

Infrastructure runs on AWS with services including EKS, EC2, and RDS. Configuration is managed via Ansible, container orchestration through Kubernetes, and observability powered by Prometheus and Grafana. Networking relies on TCP/IP and Route53, with data storage across SQL and NoSQL systems.

Work Environment

This role supports a globally distributed team with remote collaboration across Moldova, the U.S., Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Armenia, and Georgia. Work is fully remote with flexibility to support asynchronous coordination.
