Role OverviewJoin a team responsible for the infrastructure behind a leading cloud-based identity security platform. In this position, you'll ensure reliable, scalable operations for customer-facing services in the UAE, with a strong emphasis on data governance, compliance, and cloud-native technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage DevOps operations and data store infrastructure for the platform deployed in the UAE region
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and services teams to deploy and maintain secure, highly available SaaS environments
- Ensure systems comply with data sovereignty and regional regulatory standards
- Support Kubernetes-based deployments using tools like ArgoCD and Jenkins for continuous delivery
- Administer databases and distributed data systems including MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, Elasticsearch, Cassandra, and Kafka
- Use infrastructure-as-code practices with Terraform and automate workflows using Python, Bash, or PowerShell
- Respond to incidents as part of an on-call rotation and resolve issues in production environments
- Work within AWS to configure, monitor, and optimize cloud resources
- Integrate machine learning pipelines using tools such as Apache Airflow and Flink
- Follow agile practices in a fast-moving, startup-style environment
Qualifications
Candidates should bring proven experience in cloud operations, particularly within AWS, and a solid foundation in both system administration and automation. Familiarity with container orchestration via Kubernetes and experience with CI/CD pipelines are essential. You must be comfortable working across teams and influencing technical direction without direct authority.
Must be based in the UAE, as local presence is required for onboarding and in-person engagements. A background in information security, compliance frameworks (ISO, SOC, SSAE 16), and distributed systems is highly valued.
