Responsibilities
- Direct fieldwork including surveys, testing, data recovery, and monitoring.
- Conduct archival research and write technical reports.
- Obtain state and federal archaeological permits.
- Collect and compile data for environmental reports.
- Work independently and under senior staff supervision.
- Supervise project personnel in field, office, and laboratory settings.
- Assist project managers with proposal scopes and budgets.
- Provide specialist technical advice on cultural resource management to clients.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Maintain a working relationship with the Guam Historic Preservation Office.
- Understand locally specific requirements for cultural resource project reviews.
- Apply knowledge of Guam territorial and U.S. federal environmental regulations, including NEPA and NHPA.
- Draw conclusions and make recommendations based on analysis.
- Interpret and record data, conduct analyses, and compare findings to regulations.
- Handle multiple tasks and communicate priorities to managers.
- Participate in marketing and business development for new clients and projects.
- Support multiple projects with flexibility and willingness to travel.
- Support cultural resources projects outside Guam, especially in CNMI and Hawaiian Islands.

- Willingness and ability to travel and conduct fieldwork in Guam, Hawaii, and CNMI.
- Interest and ability to support cultural resources projects outside Guam, especially in CNMI and Hawaiian Islands, but also potentially international or other Pacific locations.
- Due to the nature of the work, US Citizenship is required.
- Ability to pass background check for DBIDS card to conduct work on military installations.
- All newly hired employees are required to attend an in-person Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office location as a condition of employment.
