Responsibilities
- Promote a positive health and safety culture, ensuring safe working practices are central to daily operations.
- Provide high-quality MHE training, inductions, and refresher sessions for both permanent and agency staff.
- Train MHE operators on the Fleet Management System and ensure they are confident in using correct processes.
- Conduct training in other warehouse areas, including bays and picking.
- Maintain accurate training records and support the development of a site skills matrix to track operator competence.
- Complete workplace assessments to ensure MHE operators remain safe, capable, and compliant.
- Support risk assessments, Safe Systems of Work, and hazard controls to reduce risks in MHE activities.
- Assist with investigations into MHE-related incidents, identifying lessons learned to prevent recurrence.
- Collaborate with operational management to cover training requirements across shifts and provide accurate KPI and monthly reports.
