MetaPhase Consulting is hiring a Full Stack Developer to join a cross-functional agile team delivering a custom application for a critical federal program. You will contribute across the entire development lifecycle, from user interfaces to backend services, in a hybrid role based in the Washington, DC metro area.
What You'll Do
- Apply test-driven development principles to build, enhance, and sustain complex applications using .NET and TypeScript frameworks.
- Collaborate with customer product owners and your agile team to evaluate, define, and prioritize requirements and user stories.
- Design and develop new features or major enhancements, ensuring compliance with Cyber Security, NIST standards, and Section 508 accessibility requirements.
- Contribute to technical research and participate in agile ceremonies like backlog grooming and sprint planning.
- Conduct unit testing, collaborate to resolve bugs, and support required client documentation.
- Support user demos and provide technical assistance for UAT and production issues.
What We're Looking For
- 5 years of professional experience in custom software development.
- Experience with front-end technologies: Vue.js, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3.
- Experience with frameworks and libraries such as React, Angular, or jQuery.
- Experience building backend APIs and services using Microsoft's .NET framework and C#.
- Skills in SQL and JavaScript development.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills within Agile teams and with stakeholders.
- An Active Public Trust Clearance or the ability to obtain one.
Nice to Have
- Experience working with federal clients or in a government contracting environment.
- Familiarity with tools like SharePoint, GitHub, and JIRA.
- A Bachelor’s degree.
