Health Care Informed is seeking a Senior or Staff Software Engineer to join as a foundational member of a new team building an AI-driven product for healthcare compliance. You will be among the first engineering hires, with significant ownership and influence over the product's technical direction and a clear career progression path.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop a scalable, production-ready platform.
- Partner with peers to make high-level decisions on backend and frontend frameworks, DevOps processes, and scalability patterns.
- Contribute to and enhance existing AI-driven features, troubleshoot issues, and design new capabilities.
- Take features from concept to production, ensuring code quality, testing coverage, reliability, and observability.
- Guide less experienced engineers, provide constructive feedback, and help cultivate an environment of continuous learning.
What We're Looking For
- A track record of shipping high-quality, scalable software products from concept to production.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with experience working in cross-functional teams.
- Ability to provide mentorship and technical feedback to less experienced engineers.
- Proficiency in designing robust, observable, and maintainable systems.
