Construction & Property Group – UK is hiring an MEP Drafter to join our team as an MEP Shop Drawing Specialist. You will be central to producing accurate and detailed shop drawings for mechanical systems, focusing on HVAC, plumbing, and sprinkler installations.
What You'll Do
- Create detailed shop drawings for mechanical systems using Revit and AutoCAD.
- Develop shop drawings for plumbing and sprinkler systems.
- Coordinate and route piping systems efficiently and effectively.
- Communicate ideas and solutions for complex routing challenges.
- Work with established templates and systems provided by the client.
- Collaborate on HVAC system design and documentation.
- Adapt to client-specific workflows and methodologies through training.
What We're Looking For
- Strong understanding of construction principles and practices.
- Background and experience in creating shop drawings for mechanical systems.
- Proficiency in Revit software for MEP applications.
- Experience with AutoCAD for technical drawings.
- Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and sprinkler system design.
- Excellent communication skills for coordination and problem-solving.
- Ability to work Eastern Standard Time hours (9 AM - 5 PM EST).
- Willingness to learn client-specific templates and systems.
