CVS Health is looking for a Mental Health Therapist to join the MinuteClinic team. In this fully remote, full-time role, you will provide vital mental health services, empowered to practice at the top of your license with dedicated clinical support. Your work will focus on delivering compassionate, evidence-based care directly to patients within their own communities.
What You'll Do
- Build and grow your MinuteClinic practice without the administrative burden of payor contracting, credentialing, and billing.
- Provide psychosocial support and education to address the mental wellbeing of individuals and couples/families ages 13+.
- Deliver evidence-based care using assessment and treatment planning tools to support continuity of care.
- Provide short-term counseling leveraging methodologies such as motivational interviewing, problem solving therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy.
What We're Looking For
- Current, active, and unencumbered North Carolina State License as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) OR Tennessee State License as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or Licensed Professional Counselor with Mental Health Service Provider (LPC-MHSP).
- Proven excellent diagnostic, care collaboration, treatment planning, and short-term counseling skills leveraging evidence-based methodologies.
- Completed Master’s degree program from an accredited College or University.
Nice to Have
- Demonstrated exceptional interpersonal and team skills.
- Experience with or willingness to learn and adapt to virtual therapy delivery.
- Proven deep understanding of the psychosocial aspects of illness and health.
- Tech-savvy and comfortable using electronic health record systems and engaging on multiple platforms.
- Demonstrated understanding of insurance, Medicaid, Medicare billing requirements.
- Evidence of strong crisis intervention skills.
- Previous experience in a mental health clinic or hospital setting.
