The McLean Hospital Corporation is hiring a Mental Health Technician to join our team. In this role, you will work under the direction of a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care and participate actively in the therapeutic milieu, supporting our mission of exceptional patient care, research, teaching, and community service.
What You'll Do
- Identify and report house cleaning and equipment problems to the Unit Secretary or Nurse Director.
- Participate in the unit’s inventory system, reporting when supplies are low.
- Initiate activities that assist patients in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe environment.
- Assist patients in their activities of daily living, including hygiene and nutritional needs.
- Assist and reassure patients during tests, exams, and procedures.
- Escort and supervise patients on and off grounds, maintaining patient safety.
- Maintain a commitment to professional growth and competency by completing mandatory in-service requirements.
- Identify areas of professional development with your supervisor and seek constructive feedback.
- Participate in critical incident de-briefing.
What We're Looking For
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Successful completion of CPI training within 30 days of hire
Nice to Have
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) - New Hampshire
- 0-1 year of related experience
Technical Stack
- Electronic Health Records (EHR) system

You will work under the direct supervision and direction of a Registered Nurse, reporting to them as part of a high-performing team dedicated to patient care.
Work Mode
This role is fully onsite and is located at 23 Isaac Street.
