Evernorth Health Services, a division of The Cigna Group, is hiring a Medication History Pharmacy Technician to join our CarepathRx team. In this remote role, you will support our Pharmacy and Care Delivery organization by collecting and documenting accurate patient medication histories, assisting pharmacists, and performing related clinical and administrative tasks for Remote Pharmacy Services.
What You'll Do
- Gather and verify complete patient medication lists and allergy information.
- Document all medication details accurately in electronic medical records.
- Interview patients and caregivers, consulting with pharmacists to resolve any discrepancies.
- Assist with quality assurance data, clinical services, order handling, and support pharmacists with data entry and insurance claims.
What We're Looking For
- Active State Pharmacy Technician License.
- National Pharmacy Technician Certification.
- 2+ years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
- 1+ year of direct experience with Medication Reconciliation or Medication History in a hospital setting.
- Strong computer and technology skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including emergency availability requirements.
Nice to Have
- Experience with prescription data entry and project coordination.
- Experience with Epic, Cerner, and/or MediTech systems.
