QuickTeam is looking for a Medical Virtual Assistant to provide exceptional administrative support to healthcare professionals in a remote setting. The role focuses on managing patient records, customer service, and coordination using Simple Practice EMR.
What You'll Do
- Utilize the Simple Practice EMR system to manage patient records efficiently and accurately.
- Update and maintain new patient information, medical history, and treatment plans.
- Provide exceptional customer service by promptly and professionally responding to patient inquiries via phone, email, or chat.
- Explain services to new patients, ensuring they have a clear understanding of how systems work and what to expect.
- Assist healthcare professionals in scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and coordinating follow-up care.
- Collaborate with medical billing teams to ensure accurate coding and billing information.
- Maintain strict patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
- Work closely with the team to ensure seamless coordination and communication.
What We're Looking For
- Proficient in using Simple Practice EMR.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and documentation.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex medical concepts to patients clearly.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven track record of providing exceptional customer service and maintaining professional relationships.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a remote team.
Nice to Have
- Previous experience as a Medical Virtual Assistant or in a similar role.
- Familiarity with medical billing and coding processes.
