Responsibilities
- Address internal and external customer requests with courtesy, professionalism, cooperation, and helpfulness.
- Handle phone calls using proper telephone etiquette.
- Listen carefully to inquiries and confirm understanding by paraphrasing back to the caller.
- Gather sufficient details before transferring calls to nurses, providers, social workers, or other departments.
- Check in patients using the Integrated Scheduling Solution (ISS).
- Act as a Patient Relations Representative, actively listening to feedback and concerns, and resolving patient complaints or coworker issues tactfully and professionally.
- Manage and complete assigned tasks, provide updates on progress or obstacles, collaborate with team members, and maintain efficient workflow.
- Update patient demographics including phone number, address, next of kin, emergency contact, and insurance details.
- Assist with daily clinic opening and closing procedures, and update no-show records within 24 hours of appointments.
- Monitor incoming and outgoing faxes and mail in compliance with HIPAA standards.

- Contract Type: 1 base year with 2, 1-year option periods
