About the Role

Responsibilities
- Maintain and update electronic medical records with high accuracy
- Process patient referrals to specialists and external providers
- Verify insurance and authorization details for referral services
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other data privacy regulations
- Coordinate with healthcare providers to confirm appointment scheduling
- Track referral status and follow up on pending cases
- Respond to internal and external requests for medical documentation
- Organize and store physical and digital patient records
- Support audits by providing accurate and timely record access
- Identify discrepancies in patient data and initiate corrections
- Assist in the onboarding of new referral partners
- Communicate with patients regarding referral instructions
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive health information
