ISTA Personnel Solutions is seeking a Medical Billing & Authorizations Specialist to join the revenue cycle operations for a US-based ABA therapy provider. In this role, you will focus initially on claims and authorizations, progressing to take full ownership of the end-to-end billing process as you advance.
What You'll Do
- Prepare and submit medical claims to US insurance providers.
- Review and correct rejected or denied claims.
- Follow up with insurers on outstanding or unpaid claims.
- Maintain accurate billing documentation and workflow tracking.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure billing accuracy.
- Gradually take ownership of end-to-end billing processes as training progresses.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in US healthcare billing.
- Strong understanding of US insurance processes and claims workflows.
- Experience handling denied or rejected claims and performing corrective actions.
- Highly organized with attention to detail and strong critical thinking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication.
- Proficiency with MS Office and Outlook.
