MedCore Solutions / BizForce is hiring a Medical Biller with specialized experience in Orthopedics to join our remote team. In this permanent work-from-home role, you will be responsible for the accurate billing, claim submission, payment posting, and accounts receivable follow-up necessary to ensure timely reimbursements.
What You'll Do
- Prepare, review, and submit claims for orthopedic services in compliance with payer requirements.
- Post payments, adjustments, and denials accurately into the Athenahealth EMR system.
- Follow up on unpaid or denied claims and resolve issues promptly.
- Verify patient insurance coverage, benefits, and authorizations as needed.
- Collaborate with providers, coders, and insurance companies to ensure clean claims.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA, billing regulations, and organizational policies.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 3 years of experience in medical billing.
- Proficiency in Athenahealth software is required.
- Strong knowledge of medical billing, coding, and reimbursement processes.
- Familiarity with payer requirements and healthcare insurance policies.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently in a permanent WFH setup.
- Amenable to work during U.S. business working hours.
