The Oncology Institute of Hope and Innovation is looking for a dependable and adaptable Medical Assistant to advance their clinical career. As an essential member of our patient care team, you will provide both clinical and administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our clinic. Your role is crucial to delivering high-quality, compassionate patient care, enhancing clinic efficiency, and contributing to an outstanding patient experience.
What You'll Do
- Live and exemplify our core values, providing outstanding customer service and promoting a positive experience for patients and staff.
- Participate in company initiatives and team activities.
- Document patient information in electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
- Request external medical records and prepare patient charts prior to appointments.
- Perform and document patient vital signs.
- Complete review of systems and patient intake documentation.
- Prepare patients for physician care and serve as a chaperone during examinations.
- Administer basic first aid and certain medications as directed by the physician.
- Perform venipunctures, non-intravenous injections, and basic laboratory procedures.
- Observe and report patients’ signs or symptoms.
- Assist with patient examinations, procedures, or treatments.
What We're Looking For
- High school graduate or GED.
Nice to Have
- Completion of a Medical Assistant Diploma program from an accredited educational institute.
- Medical Assistant Certificate.
- 2 years of experience working as a Medical Assistant or related role in an outpatient clinic or medical office.
- BLS and CPR certification.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English.

Benefits & Compensation
- Compensation range: $21.50—$23.50 USD per hour.
