Otter PR is seeking a Media Relations Publicist to join our team, specializing in the Lifestyle, Health, and Wellness sectors. In this role, you will be integral to crafting compelling narratives and securing media coverage for our clients. We welcome candidates of all experience levels as we provide extensive, hands-on training.

What You'll Do

Write media messages, press releases, and campaign materials
Monitor media coverage and industry trends daily
Conduct news tracking and compile team reports
Search for and respond to journalist requests
Research and maintain media databases
Support account strategists with assigned tasks
Potentially manage client relationships

What We're Looking For

Strong project management skills
Confidence in working directly with clients
Ability to manage client expectations effectively
Comfort working in a collaborative team setting
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Strong attention to detail and deadlines
Demonstrated writing experience

Nice to Have

Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Business, or Public Relations
One year of experience as a journalist, writer, publicist, or editor (educational experience accepted)
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively under deadline pressure
