Care Access is hiring a Media Production Operations Lead

About the Role

Care Access is looking for a Media Production Operations Lead to oversee and align our media production operations. In this role, you will translate strategic vision into operational plans, manage teams and vendors, and ensure our content is effectively produced, promoted, and distributed. Your work will directly support our mission to ensure every person can understand their health and contribute to future medical breakthroughs.

What You'll Do

  • Translate strategic vision into operational plans and actionable priorities.
  • Oversee daily operations across producers, videographers, and coordinators, ensuring smooth workflow, adherence to deadlines, and high-quality output.
  • Develop, implement, and continuously refine processes, workflows, and operational systems to maximize efficiency, scalability, and consistency.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the Media Production Studio and internal stakeholders, facilitating clear communication and alignment.
  • Monitor project timelines, budgets, and KPIs, providing actionable insights and regular reporting to the Head of Media Production.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and freelancers ensuring consistent timely delivery and cost-effective execution.
  • Identify operational bottlenecks, proactively troubleshoot issues, and escalate when necessary.
  • Drive planning efforts within the department, including goal-setting, resource planning, and prioritization of initiatives.
  • Ensure media content is effectively promoted, distributed, and tracked across all relevant channels and platforms, including OTT services, TV, Cable networks, and film festival circuits.
  • Oversee promotional campaigns for media content, ensuring visibility and audience engagement.
  • Lead the strategy and execution of film festival submissions, screenings, and festival-related promotions.
  • Act as a decision-maker in the absence of the Head of Media Production.
  • Collaborate with leadership to identify opportunities for departmental growth, innovation, and optimization.
  • Facilitate vendor negotiations, contracts, and service-level agreements.
  • Support talent management initiatives, including recruitment and onboarding for the media production team.
  • Stay current on industry trends, emerging media technologies, and best practices.
  • Serve as an ambassador for the department’s culture, values, and strategic priorities across the organization.

What We're Looking For

  • 6+ years of experience in management, with demonstrated ownership of complex, multi-channel content initiatives.
  • Proven ability to translate strategic objectives into operational plans, workflows, and measurable outcomes.
  • Demonstrated success managing timelines, budgets, KPIs, and performance reporting in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Strong project and resource planning skills, with the ability to prioritize initiatives and allocate resources effectively.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience serving as a primary point of contact between creative teams, leadership, and partners.
  • Experience negotiating vendor contracts, service-level agreements, and managing cost-effective external partnerships.
  • Experience supporting talent management efforts, including hiring, onboarding, and team development.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.

  • Compensation: $100,000 - $130,000 USD per year.
