Grupo Q is looking for a Mechanical Supervisor to lead mechanical maintenance and repair operations for our fleet of vehicles and equipment. You will manage a team dedicated to safety and operational excellence.
What You'll Do
- Supervise and coordinate mechanics performing maintenance and repairs on vehicles and equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical issues and develop repair plans to minimize downtime.
- Ensure all maintenance work complies with company safety policies and industry regulations.
- Manage inventory of spare parts and tools to support repair operations.
- Train and mentor junior mechanics to improve team skills and performance.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and costs.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in automotive or mechanical engineering preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems in heavy equipment.
- Proven ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Valid driver's license and ability to operate company vehicles.
Nice to Have
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Experience with fleet management software and diagnostic tools.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English.
