Responsibilities
- Lead mechanical, electrical, and plumbing system design and integration for residential, commercial, and industrial developments
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to establish project requirements and translate them into technical designs
- Produce and evaluate engineering drawings and specifications for mechanical, electrical, and fluid systems across various builds
- Supervise construction execution of MEP systems, ensuring alignment with regulations, codes, and project goals
- Apply engineering expertise to accelerate design workflows and resolve field issues during construction
- Draft, administer, and finalize subcontractor agreements across multiple trades through project completion
- Execute project controls including timeline planning, financial forecasting, and expenditure tracking
- Address and resolve design and construction discrepancies on-site as they arise
- Own end-to-end project lifecycle management to deliver results on schedule, within budget, and to stakeholder satisfaction
- Maintain and manage organizational tools and digital systems for construction project documentation
- Estimate preliminary budget costs based on initial project scope
- Collect and evaluate bids from design and construction professionals; award contracts after evaluation
- Establish final project budgets and timelines, implementing monitoring systems to track cost, progress, and scope
- Support securing necessary approvals from municipal, regional, and government authorities
- Coordinate execution of project plans and monitor ongoing progress
- Partner with facilities and client teams to transition buildings into operational mode post-construction
- Align with operations and client groups to support long-term building maintenance and functionality
- Supervise after-hours contractors as required by project demands
- Take ownership of unplanned projects based on evolving business priorities
- Coordinate with permitting specialists to obtain and close out required construction permits
