Bombardier is hiring a Material Handler to join our team at the Dallas Service Center (Love Field). In this role, you will manage the flow of components and equipment essential for maintaining our peak-performing aircraft, ensuring parts are available to meet delivery timelines.
What You'll Do
- Adhere to Bombardier General Work Requirements for factory, shop, and hangar positions.
- Comply with all environmental, health, and safety policies and procedures, and participate in 5-S activities.
- Receive and visually inspect all incoming and outgoing materials for physical damage.
- Distribute parts, materials, tools, and ground support equipment in alignment with aircraft delivery schedules.
- Verify and reconcile documentation for all parts and materials moving in and out of the facility.
- Maintain accurate inventory using both computerized and manual systems through cycle counts and perpetual tracking.
- Assist in loading and unloading shipments and transport materials throughout the facility.
- Provide clear verbal or written shift turnovers.
- Issue hand tools, machine tools, dies, and rental equipment to authorized personnel.
- Perform all assigned duties in a safe and timely manner.
