SC Johnson Professional is looking for a Material Handler / Shipping and Receiving to manage warehouse operations at our Stanley facility. You will maintain a clean and efficient workspace while handling the flow of materials in and out of the plant.
What You'll Do
- Accept, document, and verify deliveries, confirming piece count, material numbers, and batch information.
- Receive raw material and finished good orders in SAP.
- Load and unload trucks, including bulk chemical deliveries.
- Store items in appropriate staging and storage areas.
- Conduct inventories and resolve shipping or receiving discrepancies.
- Create STOs and delivery notes for outbound finished goods shipments.
- Perform warehouse cleaning, sweeping, and dusting as needed.
- Actively participate in plant, department, and shift meetings.
What We're Looking For
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read and interpret documents like Bills of Lading, Certificates of Analysis, Delivery Notes, and Packing Lists.
Nice to Have
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in SAP.
- Effective problem-solving skills.
- Current Forklift Certification and ability to operate all types of Powered Industrial Vehicles (PIVs).
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Able to handle material needs, solve material problems, and manage inventory control issues.
