JELD-WEN Holding, Inc. is hiring a Material Handler to support our Distribution division in providing value-added goods and services to customers. You will perform a variety of warehouse and material handling duties in a safe, challenging, and fast-paced environment.
What You'll Do
- Operate propane and/or electric forklift vehicles
- Perform start-of-shift preventative maintenance inspections
- Assist in inventory cycle counts as needed
- Handle material preparation and movement
- Gather necessary materials to support the assembly floor
- Assist in assembly operations
- Detect and report defective materials
- Label finished products to match appropriate paperwork
- Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition
- Retrieve raw materials, semi-finished, and finished products for proper assembly
- Perform other general warehouse duties as needed
Nice to Have
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or similar environment
