JELD-WEN Holding, Inc. is looking for a Material Handler to join our Distribution division. You will provide value-added goods and services to customers by performing a variety of warehouse and material handling duties.
What You'll Do
- Operate propane and/or electric forklift vehicles
- Perform start-of-shift preventative maintenance inspections
- Assist in inventory cycle counts as needed
- Prepare and handle materials
- Gather necessary materials to support the assembly floor
- Assist in assembly operations
- Detect and report defective materials
- Label finished products to match appropriate paperwork
- Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition
- Retrieve raw materials, semi-finished, and finished products for proper assembly
- Perform other general warehouse duties as required

- Ability to operate forklifts and perform physical warehouse tasks

- Previous experience in a manufacturing or similar environment
