Affect is looking for a Maryland-licensed Telehealth Substance Use Disorder Counselor to deliver virtual individual and group counseling sessions to support recovery and promote wellness. This is a state-specific role requiring a Maryland license, within a mission-driven startup environment focused on building a modern, inclusive, and accessible addiction care system.
What You'll Do
- Conduct intake assessments to evaluate Member readiness and determine appropriate level of care
- Facilitate group and one-on-one counseling sessions using Affect’s evidence-based curriculum
- Provide crisis support and coordinate appropriate referrals when needed
- Maintain timely, accurate documentation in our electronic medical record (EMR) system
- Collaborate with clinical supervisors on individualized treatment and discharge planning
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and all relevant state regulations
What We're Looking For
- Active and verifiable Maryland counseling licenses of LCSW-C, LCPC, LCADC or LCMFT
- Proficient with Microsoft Office or Google Suite, EMR systems, and telehealth platforms
- Have a private, HIPAA-compliant workspace and reliable internet
