The Nielsen Company is looking for a Marketing Specialist II to lead the lifecycle management of global marketing assets and serve as the primary administrator for our Digital Asset Management system. In this highly technical and process-oriented role, you will bridge the gap between creative production and operational delivery as we work to capture audience engagement with content and power a better media future.
What You'll Do
- Lead the global administration, system configuration, and technical integration of the DAM platform with the MarTech stack.
- Design and maintain standardized metadata schemas and leverage AI-driven automation to ensure 100% asset searchability.
- Oversee the full asset lifecycle, ensuring strict adherence to brand standards and Digital Rights Management (DRM) to mitigate legal risks.
- Partner with Business Operations to integrate creative workflows into the Phase Gate model and manage the global intake and triage process.
- Act as the primary technical lead for teams in North America and India, driving system adoption through training, SOP documentation, and utilization reporting.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years in Marketing Operations or Digital Asset Management, with a proven track record of managing enterprise-level DAM platforms (e.g., Adobe Experience Manager, Bynder, Brandfolder, or Widen).
- Advanced knowledge of creative file formats (Adobe Creative Cloud suite), video transcoding, and metadata standards (IPTC/XMP).
- Strong PM skills with experience in tools like Workfront, Asana, or Monday.com; comfortable managing multiple high-priority workstreams simultaneously.
- Native or professional-level English proficiency is mandatory, as this role supports a global team and requires extensive documentation in English.
- You enjoy organizing chaos and have a high degree of attention to detail when it comes to naming conventions, version control, and system architecture.
- Comfortable working in a remote-first environment and collaborating across multiple time zones.
