Podean is looking for a Marketing Research Associate to play a key role in supporting our marketplace research initiatives. You will focus on data organization, quality assurance, and operational support for benchmarking studies, ecommerce landscape analysis, and marketplace monitoring.

What You'll Do

Support the Market Intelligence Manager across e-commerce market research, competitive benchmarking studies, and other operational needs.
Assist in preparing research projects by organizing resources and setting up structured data tables to support efficient data collection and analysis.
Organize, clean, and quality check large datasets to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability for market analysis and reporting.
Help summarize research findings and highlight relevant insights for internal reports and discussions.
Track project progress, communicate task updates, and proactively flag potential challenges to keep projects aligned with timelines.
Assist in onboarding, training, and monitoring data associates involved in market intelligence projects to maintain data quality across large-scale research initiatives.
Stay up to date with developments across e-commerce marketplaces by researching and verifying industry news and platform updates.
Curate relevant marketplace updates and post on our social channels, primarily X/Twitter.

What We're Looking For

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Market Research, Statistics, Operations, or related fields.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and other data management tools.
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy while working with large datasets.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.

Nice to Have

Experience in data quality management or data-related roles.
Familiarity with e-commerce marketplaces and product page structures.
Experience with Amazon or ecommerce platforms.
Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, or Perplexity.
Familiarity with Amazon Rufus.
