TD Insurance is looking for a Marketing Manager, Music and Union Station Sponsorships to join our team. You will act as a highly seasoned professional, developing marketing strategies, executing sponsorship campaigns, and building relationships with external properties to deliver on key performance indicators. Guided by our vision to Be the Better Bank, you will lead cross-functional teams and manage the development and execution of marketing plans consistent with TD’s standards.
What You'll Do
- Develop marketing strategies, translate business plans into marketing campaigns, and understand sponsorship industry growth drivers to build competitive advantage.
- Analyze past results, evaluate in-market activity effectiveness, and make recommendations to maximize ROI, ensuring objectives are delivered on plan.
- Leverage market research and customer insights to inform campaigns, interpret the industry environment, and recommend best practices.
- Ensure campaigns support the TD brand, are designed for a positive customer experience, and understand customer journeys.
- Use critical thinking to identify problems, engage stakeholders to gather data, and combine data with judgment to drive actionable recommendations.
- Build and manage strong relationships with Agencies, Business Units, Marketing Partners, Legal, Compliance, and other internal teams.
- Manage projects effectively from initiation to completion, leading multi-functional teams and agency partners, tracking budgets, and meeting financial requirements.
- Apply expertise in sponsorship property management, including contract compliance, negotiations, marketing strategy builds, event execution, and talent engagement.
- Utilize a deep understanding of brand, activation, and marketing measurement tools to communicate concise, insight-driven strategies.
- Contribute to property contract negotiation strategies, manage sensitive data, develop business cases, and assess new opportunities for the sponsorship roadmap.
- Foster collaborative connections, influence without authority, and drive progress with external property leaders, agency partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Apply knowledge of the competitive sponsorship landscape and innovation trends to identify unique opportunities and engage fans in breakthrough ways.
What We're Looking For
- Undergraduate degree or relevant professional certifications, designations, or equivalent.
- 7+ years of relevant marketing experience.
- A self-motivator with excellent organizational and communication skills to influence, prioritize, and multi-task in collaborative or independent settings.
- Advanced knowledge of multiple marketing principles, strategy development, consulting principles, and proven ability to drive business results.
- Experience in relationship management, working collaboratively and building relationships across teams and functions.
- Skill in using computer applications including MS Office.
