Acorns is looking for a Marketing Manager II: Paid Search & App Acquisition to join our Growth team. You will drive high-quality subscriber growth through deeper Google Paid Search and App Campaign experimentation, data-led optimization, and strategic testing. This role is centered on maximizing performance within the Google ecosystem while contributing to strategic AI and tooling advancements.
What You'll Do
- Own and optimize Google Paid Search and App Campaigns through advanced segmentation, asset testing, event signal strategy, and automation.
- Design and execute a robust experimentation roadmap, including A/B tests, incrementality tests, and creative optimization.
- Drive strategic AI initiatives to improve Paid Search efficiency and audience modeling; help define the future of AI-integrated Search growth tools at Acorns.
- Refine internal reporting, dashboards, and automation to improve transparency, operational efficiency, and real-time decision-making.
- Drive experimentation and testing roadmap within the paid search channel to establish new growth levers.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Analytics, Creative, Brand, and Lifecycle Marketing to align campaign strategy with company goals.
- Lead the development of ad content and messaging that resonates across channels, ensuring a strong brand identity.
- Partner with external channel account managers, identifying performance expectations and quarterly OKRs.
- Contribute to a learning-focused, collaborative team culture while developing your leadership and strategic thinking skills.
- Participate in leadership development programs and cross-functional initiatives as part of career progression.
What We're Looking For
- 4–6+ years of experience managing Google Paid Search and UAC, with hands-on optimization of campaigns, conversion signal strategies, and creative experimentation.
- Deep understanding of how machine learning powers Google UAC delivery and a track record of improving campaign performance through strategic experimentation.
- Experience driving acquisition across Apple Search Ads.
- Strong analytical mindset - proficient in Excel/Google Sheets (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs), with a foundational understanding of SQL and A/B testing methodology.
- Passion for using AI and automation to improve media efficiency, creative development, and campaign management tooling.
- A test-and-learn mentality, backed by curiosity, attention to detail, and a drive to uncover new growth opportunities.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills - thrives in cross-functional environments.
