Ferguson is hiring a Marketing Manager to spearhead marketing strategy for our residential plumbing and HVAC business, focusing on customer acquisition, growth, and loyalty. You will lead national marketing initiatives and customer engagement programs, partnering closely with business leadership and category teams to achieve financial goals.
What You'll Do
- Serve as the primary marketing contact and oversee national marketing initiatives for the residential plumbing and HVAC business.
- Oversee advertising plans, print marketing, customer events, digital advertising, owned media, and other national initiatives.
- Analyze customer insights and market analysis to build successful strategies aligning with business objectives.
- Maintain awareness of competition and target audiences to identify industry trends for innovative marketing efforts.
- Build measurable marketing programs to support specific objectives across different channels and segments.
- Draft marketing plans including customer-facing programs, demand generation, campaigns, sales enablement tools, and communications.
- Be financially responsible for the customer group marketing budget, vendor funds, and submit budget proposals.
- Understand business group performance, objectives, and roadmap to contribute to executive-level business planning.
- Participate in regular business reviews with executive leadership and ensure alignment of marketing plans.
- Establish and communicate campaign targets, objectives, and goals, setting performance expectations.
- Partner with Category Management, Own Brand Marketing, Customer Group leadership, and Brand teams.
- Work with Customer Experience and Analytics to distill performance reports and customer research.
- Engage with Integrated Media and Creative & Content teams to define tactics and map end-to-end customer campaigns.
- Work with Brand Strategy partners to support and extend enterprise brand messaging.
- Cultivate relationships with vendor partners regarding residential plumbing and HVAC marketing programs.
- Develop marketing opportunities and programs for vendor MDF/co-op that align with business objectives.
- Provide regular correspondence and performance reporting for key strategic vendors.
- Assist Marketing Insights & Analytics team with analysis of performance reports, sales data, and customer behavior.
- Host quarterly marketing reviews with internal teams and business leadership providing campaign analysis and forecasts.
- Assist in preparation of marketing team and business meetings, including quarterly vendor meetings and annual reviews.
- Lead a team of four marketing specialists.
- Prioritize workload and goals for the team, ensuring associates have the support vital to deliver successfully.
- Host monthly meetings to review the progress of marketing initiatives with internal marketing channel and content teams.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field; or equivalent channel marketing work experience.
- 10+ years of proven experience in B2B marketing.
- Strong communication skills as a leader, with business partners and at all levels.
- Previous team leadership experience.
- Ability to prioritize work and work independently and with colleagues.
- Proven track record of developing and delivering successful B2B marketing campaigns that drive business results.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use data to drive decision-making and optimize campaign performance.
- Working knowledge of MS Office 365 software.
- Requires travel up to 15%.

Work Mode
This role operates in a hybrid model. Locations include remote within the United States or hybrid in Newport News, VA.
