The Colorado Rockies Baseball Club is hiring a Marketing Intern to join its Communications & Marketing department. In this role, you will support a variety of duties with a focus on traditional and digital marketing campaign execution.
What You'll Do
- Copywrite, edit, and proofread marketing materials and advertising campaigns for the Reds (20% of time)
- Assist with traffic instructions for media partners (15% of time)
- Summarize advertising support for Corporate partners (15% of time)
- Pull and interpret reports for performance media campaigns (20% of time)
- Benchmark other MLB teams’ initiatives, promotions, and advertising campaigns (15% of time)
- Distribute promotional items departmentally and to local media partners (5% of time)
- Support the Communications & Marketing team with game day needs and off-site promotional events (5% of time)
- Perform other duties as assigned (5% of time)
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree or currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree
- Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel
- Copywriting experience
- Strong knowledge of the Cincinnati Reds and Major League Baseball
- Strong knowledge and familiarity with X, Facebook, Instagram, and other social media platforms
- Excellent time management and strong attention to detail
Nice to Have
- Bachelor’s degree
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and photo editing/clipping experience
