This intermediate-level opportunity offers an exciting challenge, merging event management expertise with the fascinating artificial intelligence landscape. Your role involves creating and executing memorable international events that engage target audiences and drive business growth through lead generation and revenue expansion. You'll ensure seamless event organization across industry conferences, workshops, executive dinners, product launches, hackathons, speaking engagements, and networking sessions. Close collaboration with Marketing, Sales, Operations, and Engineering teams will align event strategies with Cohere's comprehensive marketing objectives. As our Marketing Events Specialist you will: • Develop comprehensive event plans including budget, venue selection, logistics, and promotional strategies • Manage external vendors, negotiate contracts, ensure timely service delivery • Handle event registration, attendee communication, guest list management • Coordinate international travel arrangements for speakers, sponsors, internal staff • Manage onsite event setup, including audiovisual requirements and branding • Ensure effective pre- and post-event communication • Utilize Marketo and Salesforce to monitor event performance and analyze data • Create event-related content for social media and company website • Coordinate marketing event activities promoting partner collaborations • Collaborate with Design team on visually appealing event campaign assets • Distribute marketing collateral across relevant channels • Stay current with industry trends and emerging marketing technologies • Manage administrative tasks including budget tracking and record maintenance This opportunity suits candidates who have: • 3+ years tech event management experience • Bachelor's degree in marketing/communications or event management diploma • Exceptional project management skills • Ability to travel 20% internationally • Valid passport and travel document eligibility • Capacity to lift 25 lbs for event setup • Flexibility for extended business hours • Proficiency in marketing automation platforms • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills We celebrate diversity and provide equal opportunities.
