Role Overview
This position supports the Demand Generation Team by managing the full lifecycle of marketing events, including tradeshows, industry conferences, virtual summits, and internal gatherings. The Marketing Events Specialist ensures each event aligns with regional campaign objectives and contributes to pipeline growth through strategic planning, execution, and performance analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement event strategies that support business targets and marketing campaigns across the Americas
- Oversee the annual schedule of trade shows and conferences, ensuring timely planning and coordination
- Lead logistics, vendor relationships, and on-site operations for assigned events using established processes
- Act as the main contact for internal departments and external partners throughout the event cycle
- Deliver regular updates, timelines, and post-event summaries to stakeholders
- Collect and report quarterly pipeline data to support leadership in measuring event impact
- Use attendee feedback and performance metrics to improve future event planning
- Collaborate with creative teams to develop branded materials and digital assets
- Manage vendor contracts for displays and promotional items, including inventory and invoice reconciliation
- Monitor and optimize event budgets in line with company financial policies
- Identify cost efficiencies and process enhancements to improve quality and scalability
- Support Sales Kickoff planning and related initiatives under the Events leadership team
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
- At least three years of experience in marketing, event logistics, or tradeshow management
- Proven ability to coordinate complex events with cross-functional teams and external partners
- Strong negotiation and communication skills when working with vendors
- Adaptability to shift between strategic planning and hands-on execution
- Excellent organizational, written, and interpersonal abilities
- Willingness to travel as needed for events and conferences
- Proficiency in managing multiple deadlines and projects simultaneously
- Experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and project management tools
- Background screening, including employment verification and criminal search, is required
Preferred Experience
- Familiarity with CVENT, Salesforce, and Wrike
Work Environment
This is a remote position open to candidates in the United States, offering flexibility while maintaining alignment with team schedules. The role may require availability during event periods, including weekends.
