Calabrio is looking for a Marketing Events Specialist to provide tactical and programmatic support for direct events, including industry tradeshows and customer conferences. You will be responsible for planning, coordination, and execution while collaborating with cross-functional teams to create revenue impact and ROI.
What You'll Do
- Develop and execute a comprehensive event marketing strategy aligned with business and campaign goals.
- Maintain an annual calendar of trade shows and conferences.
- Manage all event planning, logistics, vendor coordination, and on-site execution of assigned tradeshows, industry events, and conferences.
- Serve as primary point of contact for internal teams and external vendors, providing clear event updates, timelines, and post-event reports.
- Collect Pipeline data on a quarterly basis to support the Sr. Director of Events.
- Maintain post-event reports and leverage insights from surveys to refine future strategies.
- Partner with Campaign & Creative teams to produce branded event assets.
- Manage display house and premiums vendor relationships, reconciling invoices and tracking inventory.
- Own and optimize event budgets, ensuring efficient allocation and cost control while following procurement processes.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and continuous process improvements.
- Manage assigned projects and responsibilities around the Sales Kickoff event.
What We're Looking For
- BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience in marketing or planning and managing tradeshow event logistics.
- Experience managing complex events involving cross-functional internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to effectively interface and negotiate with outside vendors.
- Able to quickly shift gears between planning and executing activities.
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and social media skills.
- Ability to travel to conferences and events.
- Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong Project Management: Must be detail oriented and able to juggle multiple projects and manage deadlines. MS Excel and PowerPoint experience.
- Successful completion of a background screening process including employment verifications, criminal search, OFAC, SS Verification, and credit and drug screening where applicable.
