BeOne Medicines I GmbH is seeking a Marketing Director, Haematology to establish and lead the marketing function for its portfolio in the UK and Ireland. This role is responsible for developing and executing the full commercialization strategy for current and future Haematology products, coaching a marketing team, and collaborating closely with local and global cross-functional partners.
What You'll Do
- Develop the overall Haematology strategy and tactical plans to support portfolio commercialization.
- Oversee all marketing strategies and plans in collaboration with global teams and commercialisation partners.
- Prepare the commercial market for the approval of future Haematology products.
- Partner with Sales, Market Access and Medical Affairs to ensure alignment of commercialisation strategy.
- Collate and develop market insights that inform commercial strategies, tactics and product forecasts.
- Partner with Medical Affairs on the execution of an integrated scientific and thought leadership strategy.
- Build strong partnerships with external partners and influence commercial strategy for partnered assets.
- Localise and implement the strategy through various programs and channels, including digital.
- Guide development of tactics to proactively address identified challenges and hurdles.
- Establish strong relationships and future-oriented collaborations with key opinion leaders and key accounts.
- Collaborate with key customers and patient advocates to develop relevant content.
- Guide development of promotional materials and activities.
- Steer impactful congress presence, communications and intelligence.
- Gain insights from healthcare professionals, KOLs, and patient groups to identify therapeutic hurdles, opportunities and trends.
- Gather and interpret competitor intelligence.
- Partner with the field force to understand their resource gaps and opportunities.
- Demonstrate marketing thought leadership and represent BeOne at key meetings and conferences.
- Oversee the overall Haematology marketing budget ensuring appropriate spend and return on investment.
- Provide exceptional leadership, fostering high performance, engagement, accountability, and empowerment.
- Foster a leadership culture which attracts, develops and retains talent, creates effective internal communication and fosters teamwork.
- Drive business decisions whereby patient care is at the center of business conduct.
- Ensure team compliance across all areas to maintain the highest standards of patient-focused ethical conduct.
- Consistently ensure operating in accordance with BeOne’s Standards of Conduct and all applicable local laws and regulations.
What We're Looking For
- University undergraduate degree in science or business.
- A minimum of 10 years of pharmaceutical industry marketing or related experience.
- UK marketplace launch experience.
- Demonstrated success in a small but fast-growing, entrepreneurial commercial environment.
- Highly skilled in influencing cross-functional teams, including interfacing with key internal and external stakeholders and with scientific and commercial teams.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, including ability to synthesize data and deliver a clear overview of commercial strategy, opportunity and risks for the Executive Team.
- Significant project management experience.
- Track-record of successful customer, healthcare professional, and KOL interactions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both in person and virtual.
- Scientific and solution-oriented mindset and capability to move and execute in a rapidly changing, ambiguous environment.
- Fluency in both verbal and written English.
Nice to Have
- Specific knowledge and experience in the hematology market; knowledge in the field of lymphomas is highly desirable.
Technical Stack
- Standard Computer Skills required, including Microsoft Office.
Team & Environment
This position involves line management of one Associate Marketing Director, Haematology and reports directly to the Franchise Head, Haematology UK and Ireland.
Work Mode
This is a local-country position based in the UK or Ireland.
