Hire Hangar is hiring a Marketing & Business Administration Virtual Assistant

About the Role

What You'll Do

Support the smooth operation of marketing and administrative functions by managing onboarding processes for new team members, including setting up Google accounts, configuring shared drive access, and granting permissions across key tools. Coordinate marketing activities by tracking campaign timelines, organizing deliverables, and ensuring tasks stay on schedule.

Assist in maintaining clear and consistent internal documentation, including SOPs and recurring process checklists. Handle calendar coordination, meeting summaries, and action item follow-ups across teams. Perform light design tasks using existing templates to produce promotional graphics and formatted materials as needed.

Support financial operations by managing vendor invoices and purchase requests. Ensure file structures remain organized and consistently named across shared platforms, improving accessibility and workflow efficiency.

Requirements

  • Proven experience working remotely, ideally supporting US or UK-based businesses
  • Proficiency with remote collaboration tools such as Slack, Zoom, and Google Workspace
  • Strong administrative background with exposure to marketing support tasks
  • Skilled in managing Google Workspace environments, including permissions and shared resources
  • Ability to create and edit basic visuals using Canva or similar platforms
  • Excellent written communication skills with a proactive approach and sharp attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in creative industries such as design, branding, or content production
  • Experience generating simple reports or dashboards in Google Sheets
  • Familiarity with CRM systems or email marketing tools like HubSpot or Mailchimp

Technical Stack

You’ll work with Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, Asana, Trello, ClickUp, Canva, Mailchimp, HubSpot, Notion, and Confluence.
