Jackbox Games is hiring a Marketing Art Contractor to create visual assets and video content that inspires more people to play our games. You'll work closely with the marketing team to improve engagement on social media, increase ad click-through rates, and develop commercials and trailers.
What You'll Do
- Support the creation of promotional materials for products and our website.
- Provide animation and illustration support for video commercials, digital advertisements, and game trailers.
- Develop and follow a calendar for refreshing creative assets used on advertising channels.
- Develop templates for sale art that can be repurposed for each platform.
- Manage and provide feedback to freelancers or contract artists brought on to support the team during busy times.
- Act as a gatekeeper and protector of our visual branding and develop visual branding guidelines.
- Work with the Marketing Producer to ensure advertising art or video has received approval from platform representatives and internal stakeholders.
What We're Looking For
- At least 2+ years of relevant experience. New grads need not apply.
- A strong ability to prioritize varied workloads with long and short-term deadlines.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative suite.
- Experience with producing and editing video content.
- Experience with creating static and video advertisements.
- Strong illustration, graphic design, and motion graphic skills.
- A great eye for color and composition.
- An interest in creating meme-style art for social media channels.
- The ability to take creative guidelines and character art from our games and mimic or replicate it in marketing content.
- A team player mindset.
- A roll-up-your-sleeves mentality.
Nice to Have
- Bonus: experience making trailers or commercial content.

Team & Environment
You'll join a small game studio of around 80 people, reporting to the Director of Marketing. You'll run creative concepts by the Chief Creative Officer for feedback. We have an entrepreneurial, get-it-done culture with a strong work ethic and low tolerance for micromanaging or posturing.
