Responsibilities
- Shape and scale the marketing and growth analytics function by setting technical standards, defining workflows, and mentoring team members to strengthen analytical capabilities.
- Lead the planning and prioritization of measurement initiatives, balancing immediate business needs with long-term strategic framework development, while remaining actively involved in building and validating solutions.
- Advance marketing mix modeling from validation to a reliable, production-level decision-making tool, expanding its use to new markets as data maturity and growth goals evolve.
- Design and execute experiments such as geo-based holdouts, lift tests, synthetic controls, and difference-in-differences to quantify the causal impact of marketing spend and refine model accuracy.
- Refine attribution approaches by selecting appropriate models and time windows aligned with customer behavior, ensuring data requirements are met and signal quality is maximized.
- Manage lifetime value to customer acquisition cost ratio as a core business metric, calculating and optimizing acquisition costs across multiple methodologies and translating analytical insights into budget decisions.
- Enable self-serve analytics for growth and acquisition teams by co-developing reporting systems and tools, improving measurement fluency so teams can independently interpret and act on data.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of experiments, model updates, and data trends to ensure continuous learning and better-informed decisions over time.
- Collaborate across data functions—including analytics engineering, product analytics, data science, and marketing technology—to align standards, strengthen measurement infrastructure, and integrate marketing insights into the broader data ecosystem.
