What You'll Do
Drive sales expansion for the full portfolio of Grid Automation solutions across Bangladesh, focusing on Substation Automation, Communication Systems, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), and Enterprise Software. Develop and execute strategic sales and marketing plans in collaboration with regional teams to meet market demands and revenue goals.
Build strong relationships with key stakeholders including end customers, engineering procurement contractors (EPCs), and internal sales partners. Lead contract discussions covering both technical and commercial terms, supported by cross-functional experts. Gather market intelligence to inform planning and adapt strategies to evolving industry needs.
Work closely with Product Managers to introduce new technologies into the market and ensure offerings meet local requirements. Align all activities with compliance standards and uphold core principles of safety, integrity, and accountability.
Requirements
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
- Bring a minimum of 10 years of sales and business development experience in the power, oil & gas, or railway industries
- Demonstrate in-depth understanding of Substation Automation and communication systems for critical infrastructure
- Communicate fluently in English and Bengali
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with SCADA systems, BESS, and enterprise software platforms
- Ability to identify emerging market opportunities and act on them strategically
- Strong intercultural communication skills
- Experience negotiating complex deals with diplomacy and precision
- Proficiency in Mandarin is an asset
