Victoria University of Wellington is hiring for a fixed-term Marker position within Te Kauhanganui Tātai Ture—the Faculty of Law for the 2026 academic year. This role is integral to supporting the academic mission by assessing student work against high standards.

What You'll Do

• Mark law assignments and exams using provided marking guides.
• Attend relevant training sessions and meetings as required.
• Provide clear and constructive feedback on student submissions.
• Ensure the timely completion of all marking tasks.

What We're Looking For

• A high level of academic achievement at the LLB/LLB (Hons) level or higher.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong written communication skills.
• A robust understanding of legal principles and academic writing standards.

Nice to Have

• Previous marking or tutoring experience.
