About the Role

The role involves leading the development and delivery of learning initiatives that enhance workforce capability and support business objectives across onboard and shore-based teams.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage comprehensive training strategies aligned with company goals
  • Design and deliver learning programs for both shipboard and land-based staff
  • Evaluate training effectiveness using performance metrics and feedback
  • Collaborate with department leaders to identify skill gaps and learning needs
  • Oversee onboarding programs for new hires across multiple departments
  • Manage external training vendors and certification providers
  • Maintain up-to-date learning records and compliance documentation
  • Support leadership development for supervisory and managerial roles
  • Implement digital learning platforms and e-learning modules
  • Ensure training materials meet health, safety, and regulatory standards
  • Coordinate training schedules across global operations
  • Lead train-the-trainer initiatives for internal facilitators
  • Monitor training budgets and resource allocation
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional growth
  • Assess emerging training technologies and methodologies
  • Standardize learning processes across departments and regions
  • Report on key learning metrics to senior management
  • Ensure alignment of training content with guest service standards
  • Support multilingual training delivery for international teams
  • Facilitate workshops and development sessions onboard and ashore
  • Drive engagement in learning through motivational techniques
  • Manage certification tracking for safety and operational roles

  • Support crisis preparedness training for crew members
