Responsibilities
- Oversee the construction and inspection procedures for assembling the main structural components.
- Improve and manage manufacturing methods such as welding, trimming, shearing, rolling, and bending to meet design, safety, quality, and delivery goals.
- Create, maintain, and update documentation for welding and related processes, including work instructions and production planning.
- Partner with engineers, specialists, and technicians to address complex production issues at scale.
- Collaborate with design teams to assess product designs for ease of manufacturing in a fast-changing production setting.
- Address product quality deviations and work with quality assurance to implement corrective actions based on root cause analysis.
- Support teams in planning and deploying upgrades to equipment, machinery, and factory layout to meet growing production demands.
- Optimize shop floor layouts, capacity planning models, and product flow strategies to ensure timely vehicle delivery.
