APAC Mississippi, Inc., a CRH company, is looking for Manufacturing Associates to join our production team. These roles are for hardworking individuals ready to contribute to a collaborative environment with a focus on safety and quality.
What You'll Do
- Clean machinery, conveyors, and surrounding areas, keeping equipment free of debris during downtime
- Operate equipment including hoppers, bagging and sealer machines, forklifts, palletizers, and hydraulic equipment
- Clean floors, pick up reusable scrap for salvage, and transport trash away from production areas
- Operate a variety of hand tools
- Assist in loading and unloading trucks
- Maintain, verify, and count product inventory
- Perform other duties as assigned on a temporary or permanent basis
What We're Looking For
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug screening and background test
- High school diploma or equivalent, or a comparable combination of education, training, and experience
- Ability to follow company safety procedures and attend weekly safety meetings
- Demonstrated ability to perform lock out tag out procedures and maintain key lock at all times
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs from ground level
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
