Royal London is hiring a Mandate Monitoring Analyst to join our Operations team. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting the Front Office by monitoring client and regulatory rules across RLAM portfolios, working closely with top fund managers. This position offers a strong foundation for career growth, including support for professional qualifications.
What You'll Do
- Undertake pre- and post-trade monitoring of all RLAM portfolios using the Order Management System Aladdin, investigating potential breaches.
- Conduct regulatory disclosures for takeovers (FCA, Takeover Panel) and large shareholdings (SEC).
- Interpret, code, and test applicable rules for portfolios using industry best practices.
- Support the fund launch process by collaborating with Investment Support, Derivative Operations, Distribution, the Front Office, and other teams.
- Work with Trustees & Depositories to ensure potential breaches are reported, classified, and investigated appropriately.
What We're Looking For
- An industry-related degree such as Maths, Finance or equivalent.
- Highly numerate with good problem-solving skills.
- Keen, inquisitive nature and strong communication abilities.
- Ability to build rapport and strong relationships.
- Achievement of or willingness to study for IMC levels 1 and 2.
Nice to Have
- Experience within the Investment Management or related service provider industry.
- Experience with thinkFolio, Aladdin, Charles River, or other Order Management Systems.
- Some historical coding experience, exposure, and interest.
