GitLab is looking for a Managing Security Consultant to join our team focused on Identity Governance and Administration (IGA). In this role, you will be responsible for implementing and enhancing client IGA solutions, primarily using SailPoint and Saviynt, while acting as a subject matter expert and mentor. You'll work within a culture driven by clearly defined core values, collaborating with knowledgeable colleagues who provide mentorship.
What You'll Do
- Implement and enhance client Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) solutions, primarily SailPoint and Saviynt.
- Gather and document technical requirements and designs.
- Act as a subject matter expert for client discussions.
- Provide mentoring and guidance to IGA engineers and may provide feedback on specific engineering tasks.
What We're Looking For
- 6+ years of hands-on experience designing, architecting, and building IGA solutions involving SailPoint and/or Saviynt.
- Experience with common connectors including Active Directory (AD), Azure AD, JDBC, exchange, web service connector, and authoritative source integration (such as SAP and Workday).
- Knowledge of Java/J2EE, Beanshell, XML, and web services (REST/SOAP).
- Experience with SailPoint IIQ/IDN workflows including joiner, leaver, and mover processes.
- Solid understanding of object models, rules, and policies.
- Experience with both lifecycle manager and compliance manager modules.
- Experience with the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Strong verbal and written skills to develop technical documentation and presentations.
- Experience leading technical architecture and security design discussions with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Nice to Have
- SailPoint or Saviynt certifications are highly preferred.
