Wipro seeks a Managing Consultant to sell and manage the delivery of complex consulting propositions within their area of expertise. This role drives measurable value for clients, leads solution development, and supports the growth of our consulting practice.
What You'll Do
- Sell and manage delivery of complex consulting propositions to drive measurable client value.
- Lead development of consulting solutions and support practice growth and development.
- Develop strong client relationships and manage large engagements, accounts, or complex consulting programs.
- Achieve utilization target and act as an ambassador for Wipro tenets and values.
- Manage teams of consultants, work streams, projects, or programs as a Program Manager or equivalent.
- Be client-focused and tenacious in solving client issues and achieving client objectives.
- Be responsible for budgets and assuring quality of deliverables.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior clients and secure feedback from client executives.
- Coach, mentor, and motivate team and client staff.
- Manage a personal sales pipeline and revenue target to support personal and practice goals.
- Sell laterally and vertically to multiple clients, identify leads, and convert them into opportunities.
- Lead sales activities, marketing, prospecting, and close new projects with minimal partner support.
- Drive proposal creation and presales activities leveraging Wipro's global footprint.
- Share thought leadership with GCG/Wipro and present at external industry forums.
- Contribute to internal initiatives, knowledge management, and development of practice policies.
- Create reusable IP/assets and manage line team career development.
- Collaborate with other consulting and delivery teams to design tailored client solutions.
- Deliver growth in consulting revenues by achieving business performance targets.
- Improve quality of consulting by increasing strategic advisory and transformation projects.
- Lead end-to-end sales cycles and strategic advisory/transformation consulting engagements.
- Generate impact on larger Wipro business through GCG deals and engagements.
- Grow market positioning for Consulting and Wipro through client relationships and thought leadership.
- Provide consulting leadership to accounts, generating growth and integration across consulting services.
- Develop senior-level relationships beyond CIO organization and open new business streams.
