Berkeley Research Group (BRG) is looking for a Managing Consultant - Clinical Performance Improvement to lead complex performance improvement projects within their expertise pillar. You will drive client value through advanced analytics, oversee project teams, and contribute to strategic business development.
What You'll Do
- Serve as engagement director for small projects in your specific subject matter expertise.
- Support or serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on project workstreams.
- Help assess and implement workstreams, establishing client processes and policies.
- Monitor implemented workstreams and provide timely feedback.
- Independently meet with clients and executives to advance project deliverables.
- Create client-facing materials including slide decks.
- Serve as service line lead for small and fully integrated client delivery projects.
- Develop project plans and deliverables for smaller-scale projects.
- Independently implement client deliverables.
- Lead performance improvement teams to develop future-state processes.
- Lead, manage, develop, mentor, and coach junior project staff.
- After 1 year, serve as a 'buddy' for peers and a coach for junior staff.
- Submit accurate and on-time expense reports and time entries.
- Contribute internally to firm advancement via work teams and task forces.
- Proactively notify superiors when bandwidth for additional work exists.
- Utilize non-productive time for continuing education and firm advancement.
- Maintain required licensure and certifications.
- Work in other service lines as assigned.
- Serve as a client’s interim leader in your area of expertise.
- Develop thought leadership (e.g., white papers, podcasts, presentations).
What We're Looking For
- 6+ years in clinical performance improvement consulting OR 10+ years of relevant industry experience with licensure/certification, including at least five years in a director-level leadership role.
- Bachelor's Degree in health or related field from an accredited institution, or equivalent.
- Candidates without a Master's Degree must enroll in a program and earn the degree within three years of hire.
- Advanced proficiency in data analytics and benchmarking tools.
- Credibility as a subject matter expert in a specific domain.
- Demonstrated leadership and project management experience.
- Strong communication, analytical, and client management skills.
- Flexibility for travel (up to 80% of time).
- Legal right to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.
Nice to Have
- Master's Degree in a relevant field.
- Board Certification(s) in your area of subject matter expertise.
- Relevant licensure/certification such as Registered Nurse, Social Worker, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, or Project Management Professional (PMP).

Benefits & Compensation
- Compensation range: $120,000 - $165,000
